Install the chat widget on your website

Install the Taplo chat widget once, then choose whether it appears across the site or only on selected pages.

Install the widget

  1. Open your chat widget setup and copy the provided installation snippet exactly.
  2. In your website builder or codebase, add it where site scripts are supported.
  3. Publish the website and open a live page in a private browser window.
  4. Send a test message and confirm it reaches the correct Taplo inbox.

Show it on every page

Place the snippet in the site's global layout, shared footer, or site-wide custom-code area so it loads once on each page.

Show it only on selected pages

Add the snippet only to the page template or pages where chat should appear. If your site supports display rules, use the provided page targeting and verify both included and excluded URLs.

Do not paste the snippet twice through both global and page-level settings. If the widget is missing, confirm the live site contains the snippet, the page is included by its rules, and browser privacy tools are not blocking it.
